Across the Caribbean, black cake is the centerpiece of Christmas. Ours starts with fruit soaked for a full year in dark rum and port wine, is baked fresh to order, then soaked again while it's warm. Batches are small, so we are taking Christmas orders now.

Email hello@therumsoakedcompany.com with your order number and the change you need before December 15, 2026 at 12 noon Eastern. We will confirm by email whether the change is possible.
Yes. Choose local pickup in Hackensack, NJ at checkout. Please allow at least 24 hours after you place your order before picking up.
Yes. Our black cake needs no refrigeration and keeps for up to a year in a sealed container, so an early arrival is no problem.
Once this year's soaked fruit is gone, it is gone until next Christmas. Reserve your cake now and let us handle the rest.
